Saint Anthony of Padua Parish
"come celebrate with us"
The Church Life Team was established in 2012 to serve the Saint Anne’s Catholic Community by ensuring the vitality and growth of our faith and parish family through collaboration and open dialogue among parishioners, clergy and the Leadership Team.
Parish wide surveys have helped us understand what parishioners saw as the strengths and the greatest needs of our parish. The survey covered how parishioners thought St. Anne's was performing in key areas of parish life and then how important those same areas were to each respondent. Based on a quantitative scoring of over 100 respondents, four areas to be improved were identified:
1. St. Anne's needs to become a more welcoming place for all: visitors, new parishioners, existing parisioners and non-practicing catholics. More parishioners need to feel encouraged and invited to actively participate in all aspects of parish life.
2. Making masses more prayerful, reverent and spiritual fulfilling as well as improving the physical environment of the church to enhance the worship atmosphere of the church.
3. Parish Clergy and Leadership need to better listen to the concerns of the parishioners.
4. Attention to the spiritual and sacramental needs of the sick and home confined as well as support of individual families dealing with illness and death.
Three task groups were formed. Environment, Hospitality & Outreach Group and Communications.
Your ideas and/or concerns are very important to us and your parish. All comments are kept confidential. Your Leadership Team at St. Anne's is looking forward to hearing from you!
