Guidelines for Faith Formation 2020-2021 1. Parents will attend with children IN THE PARISH HALL SESSIONS ONE 8:50-9:15 OR SESSION 2 10:10-10:30AM ! 2. Presence at Mass is more important than class. 3. Maintain social distancing and wear masks. 4. Families will sit together. Parents may bring water bottles and snacks for children if needed. 5. A 20 minute basics related to Sunday Gospel message will be shared. Begin with music and Bible reverence ritual. 6. Children will receive age appropriate leaflet and home activity. 7. Program includes a basic catechism booklet. 8. Sessions are in hall with family social distancing. Parents can opt to use leaflets at home and do livestream Mass Do what is safe for your family! Considering a Zoom teen (6-9) group to meet monthly for sharing and support. Sacraments 2 group 2020-21 (parent/candidate) will meet Sunday afternoons 5-6pm in the hall monthly for Eucharist lessons. They are also encouraged to join the Sunday morning group for gospel/seasonal learning (all age). Sacraments 1 families will receive A Catholic Children’s Bible to use at home to learn about our family ancestors. You will also receive THE BLESSING CUP – a booklet of prayer rituals simply done and modeled on our Mass to use at home – in times of celebration or need—as well as during the seasons of the year. A child’s Mass booklet will help you and your youngster to respond to prays and better participate. We have extra kindergarten books that can be used at home. Speak with Sr. Jackie if interested. Create a ‘faith focus space’ in your home – center of dining table, other spot…..place a seasonal colored cloth (start with green), a cross or crucifix, holy water bottle, a saint of the month…..
